Brow House Permanent Cosmetics was born in 2019 when Ashleigh discovered her passion for eyebrow tattooing while getting her own eyebrows tattooed. Through this, she discovered it was the perfect career path for her. Ashleigh’s background in Graphic Design, combined with her art degree and lifelong obsession with brows, made this an easy decision. Since then, Ashleigh has expanded her services including brow micropigmentation, lip blush, Scalp Micropigmentation and laser.
Ashleigh is dedicated to continuous learning and improvement, regularly training with renowned artists to hone her skills. Her commitment to excellence has been recognised with prestigious awards, including ‘Scotland’s Best Permanent Makeup Artist’ and ‘Scotland’s Best Brow Artist’
Permanent makeup, also known as micropigmentation (PMU), is a form of cosmetic tattooing, which involves having a tattoo rotary machine and single-use needles to carefully implant pigment into the skin.
While often referred to as “semi-permanent,” it’s important to note that the results are not always temporary. While the pigment does fade over time, it may not completely disappear.
We prefer to use pigments designed to gradually fade over a 12-18 month period. However, the longevity can vary depending on individual factors such as skin type and lifestyle.
